A somewhat subjective rating of the day’s weather on a scale of 0 to 10.

5/10: Spooky showers can’t spoil the Halloween spirit.

  • Today: Cloudy, isolated showers possible. Maximum values: 65 to 69.
  • This evening: Scattered rain showers. Lows: 52 to 57.
  • Morning: Earlier showers possible, then mostly cloudy. Treble: Near 70.

We look forward to another beautiful week of autumn but unfortunately the only chance of rain may coincide with the Halloween celebrations. Once we are beyond Tuesday morning the weather will be dry, and it will also be unusually mild. We see highs near or above 70 most days this week, although our average high slips towards 60.

Today (Monday): The sky is cloudy, but around noon we should stay mostly dry. During the afternoon some showers are likely to spread across the region, but they shouldn’t be too heavy and long lasting. Highs are in the mid to high 60’s with light southerly winds. Confidence: Medium-High

This evening: Unfortunately, trick-or-treaters have to dodge some showers, but it’s not a washout. Bring an umbrella or waterproof your costumes, but venturing out should be manageable. Evening temperatures will be close to 60. By dawn showers should ease somewhat, with lows in the mid 50’s. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Tuesday): A few showers could persist early in the day, particularly east of Interstate 95. Most locations will be dry by mid-morning. Skies may clear a bit but will remain mostly cloudy in the afternoon with highs near 70. Light winds from the west. Confidence: Medium-High

Tomorrow night: Clear skies with mild lows ranging from 45-50 in our cooler spots to 50-55 downtown. Confidence: Medium-High

Wednesday to friday sure doesn’t feel like early November. Every day offers plenty of sun and balmy afternoons. Highs are near 70 every day. Nights are a bit chilly with lows in the 40’s except downtown which is near 50. Confidence: Medium-High

The first weekend November is looking really good. We’ll be holding on to partly to mostly sunny skies, and elevations will climb even slightly higher – up from 70 to 75 on both days. Night lows are in the 50s. Confidence: Medium
