Packers ‘Quay Walker was sent off after pushing Bills’ manager to the sidelines
Green Bay Packers Newcomer linebacker Quay Walker was ejected from Sunday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills for pushing a coach to the sidelines in the second quarter after a game.
The game took place with about 4:07 left in the first half. Bills comes back James Cook has brought the ball to his own sideline near the first-down marker. As both teams were preparing to reset for the next game, Walker was seen pushing the coach dressed in street clothes to the sidelines of the Bills.
Walker was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct. The Bills were about to make their next play, but the referee team stopped play and kicked Walker out of the game.
He appeared as Walker helped force Cook out of bounds, the coach got his hands on Walker to move him out of the way. Walker didn’t seem to like it very much.
Later on the drive, Isaiah McKenzie would score for the Bills to take the game to 21-7.
Walker was making his eighth appearance this season. He came in with 52 total tackles, one tackle for one loss and two QB hits. He has also had two defended passes and a forced fumble so far this season.
The Packers selected Walker with pick number 22 last spring draft outside Georgia. With the Bulldogs in 2021, he had 37 total tackles and 1.5 sacks.
