Piers Morgan roasts ‘miserably predictable’ leftist over Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover

Piers Morgan, host of “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Fox Nation, predicted on Monday’s “Fox & Friends” that Elon Musk will eventually restore Twitter to a fair and open platform that does not censor conservative commentators. And while Morgan shrugged off the left’s “miserably predictable” reaction to Musk’s takeover, he said it’s unlikely they’ll actually leave the platform.

ELON MUSK ADVISES MAJOR TWITTER STAFF CHANGES IN TWEET ABOUT MANAGER

PIERCE MORGAN: Joe Rogan is on point. What you saw with Twitter is a very awakened workforce that had basically been conservative commentators banning shade from Twitter for a long time. We all know this. They also almost exclusively banned right-wing people without banning left-wing people for similar offenses. … But here again, [Elon Musk] it will bring back the comedy, the ability to laugh, to joke with people without fear that you will be canceled. And I really think this is long. And the reaction from the left, I must say, it was miserably predictable. It reminds me of when Donald Trump was named president. They all said, “We’re all leaving the country.”

None of them left the country. And the same rule now saying, taking his rattles out of his stroller and saying, “We all have to leave Twitter.” They won’t leave Twitter because they love Twitter as much as I do. They are addicted to the damn thing. So I think what you’re going to see is a lot of whining, a lot of throwing bells around, and then it’ll calm down, and we’ll probably find Elon Musk restoring Twitter to what it should be. it is a fair and open platform for people of all persuasions and all viewpoints.
